4 more college classes next year (Arabic 2 and 3, and comparative gov't and INt'l relations)
Will take AP tests. Honestly, those could go either way. Not gonna invest too much in them seeing as most places don't even accept them!
College level arabic (2 semesters. Equal to AP class)
Study abroad program in Morocco sponsored by State Dept. (Immersed in language and culture. Helped orphans to read english and all that good stuff. Nothing out of the ordinary for this website)

Basic amount of community service. Just enough to keep me in NHS.

Also applying to UMich. Any insight would be amazing!

probably pretty good chance if applying to sfs. low act, lack of ap classes, and lack of community service might be overlooked by arabic and morocco study abroad.

i think it's all kind of a crapshoot. two girls from my school applied to sfs (both racially diverse, both heavily involved with speech, one a national champ, theater, 5+ ap classes, 32+ ACTs, the whole deal) and one was rejected, the other deferred...

i know that's not what you want to hear, but i'm in the same boat as you and i don't want my hopes crushed later on. : (

wait, you can't get rejected from Georgetown early action. You either get deferred or accepted.

I wouldn't not invest time into the APs. A lot of schools DO take APs, and if you do well it could help you in admissions. Do well in them anyways. I agree about the ACTs. They're a little low. I think you'll be good for Michigan probably.

you definately have a shot though gtown doesnt give much thought to legacy...ACT is kind of low for school like that but still good....good luck
