<p>I am a male caucasian senior from South Dakota and I will be applying regular decision to Stanford, with most likely an engineering major of some sort. Here’s some stats:</p>

English Language & Composition–3</p>

<p>Current classes:
AP Literature&Comp, AP Spanish Language, AP Chemistry, Personal Computing, Debate, 3D Design. Next semester i’ll take AP Econ too. I’m studying AP Calc BC independently also… my school doesn’t offer this class.</p>

<p>Activities: Varsity Tennis 9-12, JV Cross Country 9-12, Spanish club, Key club, USTA Team tennis, Debate team</p>

<p>Honors–National Honor Society, National Spanish Honorary Society, World Language Honor Society, Chosen (16 out of the state) to attend South Dakota Rising Scholars in Math & Science, AP Scholar, 4.0 Honor roll throughout high school, National Spanish Exam Golden Award, NFL(National Forensics League) degree of honor, Varsity letter, scholar athlete.</p>

<p>yeah i kinda know what you mean… i don’t feel too strongly about getting in to be honest but i’d like to… but what are some examples of good “hooks”</p>

<p>i do think your location might work for you… the need/want to represent all states might lead to your being at the top of the SD list… depends on the other people in SD i guess</p>
