I have been dancing indian classical for 10 yrs…

I compete in traditional indian dancing -
my team placed in a regional competion for 2 years
last year we placed 2nd in nationals

bump please

i ’ m desperate.

bump please

hey, u chanced me so I wanted to return the favor. You have good chances…mostly everything too competitive is a crapshoot. Narrow your activities and I think you will be in at Duke. Cornell might be a bit tougher. Darthmouth, I dont know too much about, but they are more on the liberal arts side. Thus, your classical dancing might be a good activity for them. All in all, good luck and PM me if you have any more questions. both of us are in the same boat :)

i live in NY
does that help chances at Cornell?

your gpa is pretty good
your ECs are amazing
your SAT I is pretty good but could do with some improvement
your SAT IIs need some help for these colleges. taking both Math I and Math II seems a little counter productive and I think you’ll need at least a 700+ on Math II and chem (assuming that you need to submit 2 SAT IIs).

but other than that you look like you’re in good shape.

what would be a good SAT score, because i am taking intensive classes to try to bump me up 100 pts…

SAT 2s… i will retake math & chem
thanks

any more CHances?

i think a good 100-150 point increase will help a lot.
sat 2s are really really important however
i think that increase in SAT will help a lot with duke and notre dame. i think you’re a good match for cornell which i have heard is “the easiest ivy to get into and the toughest to get out of.” darthmouth is probly a medium reach however. and i know nothing about the penn state program so i cant reallyhelp with that.

math i will def. get that 60pt boost… b/c i got stupid questions wrong - 800
cr - hoping for that 70 pt boost - 700
writing - maybe 10 to 20 bump - 650/660

Are Sat2s really that important?

i personally think they are. but i’m not an admissions counselor…

^ I dont think SAT 2s are as important. If you got a 5 in AP Chem Exam but a 680 on the subject test, I am sure they will see that you know your chem but had a bad testing day. However, if you did bad on the AP test as well, then you should probably retake.

to get perspective, could someone else chance me honestly for darmouth?

ohyeah
ED for Darmouth
