<p>In regards to my major, I plan on going in as undeclared. Also I don’t know if legacy counts at usc anymore but one of my sisters is a usc alumnus and another is currently going there.</p>

<p>I’d say you have an above average chance at NYU and a fair chance at USC (as judged by your class rank, ACT, and EC’s). Is it possible for your to do an activity which brings your love of music to your school or community? For example, creating a sheet music section within your school’s library?</p>

<p>For NYU and Michigan u have a great shot. USC you have a decent shot. For UT Austin, its going to be pretty difficult (because of the top 10% rule, getting in from oos is very difficult). Also, make sure u remember that these are very expensive colleges- all are above $30,000 a year for tuition. I think you have a great shot at UCLA as well, which would be only $10,000 a year for tuition (although, if you’re a fan of USC, you probably hate UCLA lol).</p>
