I was very bored and unmotivated during freshman and sophomore year because of the mandatory minimums/teachers and got serious in junior and senior year as the idea of college became more real. Im hoping that they see my upwards trend, since my most recent grades are the most realistic portrayal of what they can expect.

P.S. I am looking to go for the great computer science / IT program they have. I have tried to define myself as a bona fide nerd in hopes of earning the NSF scholarship. I have visited twice and went to a tech open house. My guidance counselor will also be contacting the admissions office to boost my chances. My school has a good history of acceptance with Marist. Also a Hispanic - White. I also speak russian.

I would like to be chanced on getting in and then getting the NSF scholarship ( 12 students interested in tech program.)
