Chances?

(Too late to add as an edit)

Also, would it be worth taking the SAT again? I know my scores aren’t phenomenal, but they aren’t bad either. If I took it again and actually studied for it, I think I could get a 1950… maybe a 2000.

Your SAT is very low for someone in the top 5%.
The first thing it will suggest to colleges is that your HS is not particularly challenging.
I’m not saying it’s true, it’s just what they will think.

However, none of the schools you are looking at seem to be very selective so I would only worry if you are interested in moving up a level, etc.

Good luck!

Thank you! I’m not looking to really move up a level in school’s- Ivy’s, Harvard, Stanford, etc. don’t appeal to me. I think if I actually studied (I didn’t even know the test format going into the it) for the SAT my score would improve some. But, in general, I’m not the best test taker. I’m much better at creating something, verbally explaining something, and executing than I am answering multiple choice questions. How much would raising my SAT scores to 2000 help?

And I’ll chance back if anyone wants!
