freshmen grade: 1st sem: 3.8
2nd sem: 3.8

soph. year : 1st sem: 4.17
2nd sem: 4.0

junior year : 1st sem: 4.17
: 2nd year: 4.0

I only took the sat once and got 1710 and i will retake it plus i will take the act

I also have a job at Burger King, will that help my chances?

major: premedical/bio engineering

my school is a distinguished school in California and I took all honors and ap classes except for one my sophomore and junior year ( which wasn’t much, 2 honors and 1 AP). I also got a score of 4 on my AP test for US history

If you can raise your sat score into the 1900’s, I think it is very likely that you will get in.

Otherwise, I’m not sure. Do you not have ELC for your high school?

EDIT: just saw that you want to do engineering. It’s a little more competitive to get into than other majors, so (again) you really want to improve your SAT score. I would try to get a 700+ on the math section. Also, it would certainly help you to take the SAT math II subject test and do really well on it.

Did you weight that properly? A maximum of 8 semesters, or 4 classes can be weighted, so you need to put that into consideration.

Do you have any more EC’s?

Part-time job looks good on a student.

GPA looks good, assuming it was weighted correctly by UC standards.

Is biomedical engineering impacted?

Get those SAT scores 1900+, SAT II’s 650+,

schools will not consider how well you do on AP tests for admission.
