applied early decision, very strong essays, esp why gw essay.

3.0 unweighted GPA? Low. Why is it low? I didn’t think you could even join NHS without a 3.5 unweighted GPA? Did you take many APs, IBs, and honors? Your HS at least helps (I’m familiar with Princeton Twnshp schools, and attending them is a plus.) Test scores… vaguely in/near range.

Good essays are… well, good. But, they might not make up for low GPAs. (But, like I said, at least you have a low GPA at a good school… not a low GPA at an average HS or a weak HS).

Extracurriculars? Fine. (With these type of schools, these ECs might not be particularly competitive, but at least you have some that you were active in and that show special interests. Solid, but not jaw dropping.)

I would still apply to various safety schools, if nothing else to see their financial aid offers, and as a backup. As I said, your GPA is weak, ECs are fine.
