I would either do a retake of the SAT or take the ACT if you feel that you can lift your scores. If not, I wouldn’t do it, 2180 isn’t bad.

I would also suggest taking the SATII Bio if you can, since you are going to be a (potential) bio major. As it stands, the only science subject test you’ve taken (that we can see) is also your lowest score –> doesn’t exactly present a strong application. Maybe your APs will tell a different story.

Lastly, it’s extremely difficult to chance someone based on GPA, rank (which is another indicator of GPA basically), and some standardized test scores. I’m sure you know all these top schools (Duke included) like to trumpet how many valedictorians they turn down and how they look for well-rounded applicants…

yeah. i’m gonna retake my chem sat. I didnt really study for the chem test and i had a pretty bad chem teacher. so i’m pretty sure i can get around 800 for chem sat.

my unweighted GPA is around 3.95. I got 2 Bs throughout my high school years.

oh. and one more thing. i just recently decided that i want to major in bio.
So i didnt get a chance to take the Bio SAT subj. test.
But i’m taking AP Bio in my senior year. So i’m pretty sure that the college admission officers will understand why i didnt take SAT II bio.

Highly doubtful. SATII bio isn’t college level stuff, if you’ve taken any kind of biology in HS (which you should have), you can do the test. Skipping it because you haven’t taken AP bio while indicating an interest in biology would not look very good.
