Chance me pls

Florida is definately my top choice and I have never been so uncertain of something in my life!

GPA 3.3 (My school is on a 7 point scale so 100-93 is the A range 92-86 is the B range and so on. This our scale for overall class grades and individual quizes/test scores.)

SAT 640 Crit Reading 650 Math 670 Writing (I’m waiting on my October scores)

I am an Eagle Scout and have been in scouting as long as I was old enough to join.

I have played soccer my entire life, both for my school and club teams.

I have participated in student ambassador programs that have taken me to Australia, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. I also participated in a spanish student exchange.

I am hispanic and live in a single home (My dad died of Cancer). He was a UF Alum and so were two of his sisters. I used to live in Florida (11 Years), but my family moved to North Carolina.

If you need more information I’d be happy to provide. Thanks for any input!

Your GPA is pretty low for UF, which you probably already know. But if they consider the fact that your school has a jacked up grading scale, it will probably make a good difference. Your test scores are pretty decent, and so are your EC’s. That along with your family connections gives you about as fair a shot as anyone, I guess. It’s just hard to tell… but I still think you have a pretty decent chance. Are you in-state? That could make all the difference.

Btw, UF is my top choice as well, so I share your anxiety lol.

Unfortunately I am out of state which I know makes it even harder… moved away from Miami five years ago.

AT9, I doubt UF would hold hawkeye to the same gpa standards as someone from a 10 point scale school. It has to be a 3.5 or 3.6 equivalent, which is still slightly low but not THAT low.

Not very good.
