I have taken all honors courses except for 2 and have generally gotten A’s and B’s
Took AP Bio and didn’t do that well, got a 3, Took AP NSL and got a 4
One bad thing is that in my junior year math course I got a d due to just plain slacking off. This is the only bad grade I have gotten so far.
In senior year I plan to take: AP econ, AP psych, Honors English 12 , Honor’s Physics Calculus, and an internship.
Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did, and thank you for responses!

I’d think you would be a solid admit but for that D in junior year…a little worrisome because if you can “slack off” junior year, you could be in trouble senior year - senioritis is a very infectious disease with potentially devastating consequences. Students take hard classes to impress colleges, pour on the steam the first two semesters, and as soon as acceptances roll in, so does senioritis - grades notoriously drop.

You might want to address that grade in one of your essays as a hard lesson learned that will not be repeated - be sure not only to address your regret but end with a positive spin.

you should be fine! I know people much worse that have gotten into UMD. It would be much better if you could get an internship though.

Thank you for replying!
I have really learned from that D and am trying my best at the moment to raise my gpa. Thank you for the feedback. :)
