<p>so I am a junior is am looking at some colleges. I’m from Canada, so this might be a bit different. </p>

<p>I’m in the top 2-5% of my grade of around 550 students. I am taking the hardest courses-full IB diploma. I didnt take SATs yet, but i will next month</p>

<p>I volunteer in a hospital weekly,
-in student council (hoping to be president next year)
-3rd in national business competition
-3rd in canada in fencing (do you think i have a chance to be recruited? Canadians are not as strong as americans in fencing…)
-Grade 10 RCM diploma in violin
-prestigious summer academic and volunteer programs</p>

<p>look honestly, i’m not canadian, but you look like you have some pretty strong and prestigious ec’s. the 3rd in the whole country for fencing? that’s great. and the weekly volunteering is nice, especially if you’re interested in medicine.
Full IB is insanely hard from what i understand, and being in the top 5% is very nice. I think you will be just fine.</p>
