I’m a transfer student with a 3.37 counting remedial credits. I have 35 currently and will have 48 transferable credits at the end of next semester. I am applying for the Spring of 2012 for Microbiology. I am the president of a club with 300 hours + of ECs including tutoring. CA resident not NJ. I work 32 hours a week in a job that is extremely uncommon for my age. (Not sure if they ask if you work and where you work)
Chances?

messed up that abbrev in the title SEBS**

Decent chance for both schools. May I ask why you are NOT applying to any of the UC’s?

I hate California as ironic as that sounds and I love cold weather. I am considering holding off my application to apply to UCD because they have a great microbio program. Plus it really wont make a different if my degree is from UCD or Rutgers because I plan on going to OHS for med school. And if that doesnt work out I plan on practicing in the east, so I might as well stay there, go to school there, makes some friends and gain some connections. Not mention I have friends that go to UCs (UCD, UCB, UCSD, UCSB) they all complain its extremely boring with no student life and it takes a lot of effort to get involved in research apparently :(.

Also Im applying to Stony Brook and Poly-NYU. Poly-NYU is probably the best opportunity because it will soon be consolidated making me an NYU student ^^.
