1st term community college student.
3.6 GPA. Took Econ, Accounting and Japanese 201 (not easy)
Natural resources volunteer (wildlife conservation type stuff) for park district for nearly a year. Great recommendation from that.
Been out of high school for 5 years.
Major: double forestry/business.

Big part of my transfer: my community college offers no forestry or much in the way of science classes. There are very few forestry schools in the country so it’s competitive, and almost all are public–except Cornell and Yale.

So, what’re my chances for Rutgers? Michigan State, University Michigan which I know is a stretch, University New Hampshire or U Washington?

Btw, my plan is to get my accum. GPA up to 3.75 in winter term. I bombed my econ final so I ended up getting a B but I’ve learned my lesson.
