Here’s my profile:
I have a cumulative 4.2 GPA 4.4 UC

I have will have taken 8 AP courses by the end of my senior year. My SAT score was a totalled 1810 with 580 critical reading 590 math and 640 writing. And an ACT score of 28.

I’m involved in my class of 2014 club, interact (community service club), and CSF life member club. Plus I have been acknowledged as a G.A.T.E. student. Also I have done History Day.

I have actively participated in the leadership class for 3 years with both school and community service. I will also be the senior class Senator of my graduating class.

I’ve received Block C Academic Achievement, Principal’s and high honor roll, and Outstanding Achievement.

I played violin and Viola for 3 years (I was first chair my last year) and participated in cheer through school from 5-7th and then 10th grade where I was captain; I also had dance outside for 2 years.

I’ve held 3 different jobs, 1 consecutively for 3 summers and will also hopefully be volunteering at a local hospital this summer.

I was awarded a position at the leadership program HOBY my sophomore year and Girl’s State (where I was the mayor) my junior year.

I also hope to be a part of National Honor Society, Advanced Scholars of Distinction, and more.

I am interested and open to UC’s and private universities in California and hope to attend medical school. What do you believe my chances are for specific schools like: UCLA, UCSB, Santa Clara, Stanford, Pepperdine, etc.

THANK YOU!!

Stanford - high reach
UCLA - reach
UCSB, Santa Clara, Pepperdine - match

if you bring your SAT score up, you have a chance at UCLA

Thank you! What’s your opinion on admission to Loyola Maramount and UC Davis and Cal Poly

Please don’t waste your money on Stanford app. Some people with 34 and 2200 on SAT/ACT get rejected and you have a 28/1810. No offense.

I understand but I choose to believe admissions are based on students as whole, improved scores are beneficial but a well rounded and advanced individual is important too, correct?

cal poly and loyola can be your back up.

For UC Davis, you certainly have a shot if you can get 2000+ SAT

It doesn’t matter whether you believe admissions based on students as whole it matters what the admissions people believe. And I promise you the admissions would love to put your EC’s on another applicant with higher test scores. Your well off EC wise but for Stanford your a tad bit on the low for gpa and your SAT/ACT is terrible in Stanford eyes.
