I’m currently a sophomore and I would really like your input so I could improve for the incoming year!
School: Fairly fairly new public school, Grade 10
GPA: 4.4 weighted, 3.8 unweighted
Ethnicity: Asian-American
Current Major EC’s:
-Current League Champion for Debate and currently ranked #1
-American Red Cross VP
-Model UN VP
-Varsity Speech and Debate (first freshman from my school to join varsity straight out of freshman year)
-Speech and Debate State Qualifier (x2)
-Mock Trial MVP for one of the rounds
-Red Cross Youth leadership board
-winner in a private university writing contest, winning $250 and a study abroad trip to Washington D.C. (I’m not listing the university for privacy reasons haha)
-I was presented an award by the mayor of my city for winning the above writing comp, and was sent certificates from the House of Representatives and Congress (this contest was semish important)
- various speech and debate awards from regular competitions to college invitationals
Volunteering:
About 400 hours so far between the local library, Red Cross Youth Leadership, and my temple events
