Looks great, wish I have your resume. Good luck.

BTW, you cannot claim first generation and legacy. If your parents never went to school how did they go to Stanford?

OP wrote “first generation American”, not “first generation to college”. Only the latter would be contradictory to being a legacy at some college.

Those schools are all reaches for everyone*. Be sure to have safeties.

*Yes, legacy or URM may matter at some schools. But applicants should not be overconfident about that. Perhaps, from the applicant’s point of view, it may move a super-selective school from high reach to “merely” reach, but that is still a low probability of admission.

You are a very competitive applicant. Your stats and ECs are great. Your URM background will probably help your application. Write amazing essays and you could get accepted to any of these schools

Thanks, I’m just trying to get an idea for how to divide up my apps between reach, target, and safety. The ones I listed are obviously my reaches, but I just want to know what to expect. Looking at forums like CC makes everything feel a bit intimidating.

You’re definitely a really strong candidate and you have a good chance at any of the schools you listed. Your accomplishments are great, so I would encourage you to focus on demonstrating that you enjoy improving the world around you.
