Chance me, I’d really appreciate it.
I would be so grateful for anyone to let me know what they think my chances are of getting admitted. I guess we’ll know for sure in about a week now! aah!

GPA: 3.64 unweighted (10th and 11th grades only—thats what they mainly consider, right?)
4.3 weighted

SAT: 670 cr, 680 m, 680 w 2030 total

ACT: 30

very good ECs and Community service: “varsity” Mock Trial team- 3 years, Captain this year and won top attorney in my county, Musical theater–tons of productions and training, founder and president of most active club in my school supporting the childrens hospital, am also a hospital vollunteer-discussed this in my essay

very good essays, but not mind blowingly amazing

yeah, it’s grades 9-11, and your grade 12 mid-year grades.

what school would be your first choice? if it’s not SCS (toughest to get into), then you have an okay chance, but we still need more info, I think… on which school lol

As one of the posters once said on my chance thread… you’re a “toss up.” I think, at this point, all we can do is hope we got in. But, again, in terms of stats, yours are pretty mid. Hopefully, your ECs and essays (especially essays) pulled you through. Best of luck. =]

Your transcript through 11th grade and your test scores are strong but not overwhelming. This year most definitely counts, and it sounds like you’ve done impressively. You are a competitive candidate; no more, no less.
Good luck!

Wait. I have the same exact unweighted GPA and ACT score of MeggoMyEggo and I was told NU would be a “reach” a few months ago. College Confidential is not the place to go for this type of judgment, folks.

Thanks everyone for your responses–I truly appreciate it. At this point I am preparing myself to NOT get in, so that way if I do, it will be even more of a treat. With my stats, I realize it could easily go either way, so I won’t be surprised in the least if it doesn’t work out for me. Wether these are especially optimistic or not, thanks for your time anyways.

To the person who asked about my rank: my school doesnt rank, and I honestly have no clue where I fall. I would imagine I am well within top 10%, possibly top 5%, in my class of around 600 at a large but very good public high school in southern california. Does rank hold much significance in admissions? I was just wondering.

Thanks again for all of your replies.
Good luck to the other poster who shares my stats.
