From the information I got from a Rep of UCB, Applied Math is not a highly demanded major, and it is in the College of Letter & Science. In this case, Applied Math does not consider completion of major preparation courses as a factor of admission. All that matters will be GPA, ECs and PIQ. So I guess I am fine in this case? And I will not be at a disadvantage for transferring in one year by just having one Fall semester grade reported in January 2024.

I expect you have already looked here: Transfers by major | University of California

From 2022:

You can look at other years too… that’s the latest year that seemed to be available (for transfers by major on this page)

The 60 credits are based on the number of credits that UC gives for AP scores? Also, UC only gives credit that is unduplicated by college courses.

Yes, the 60 credits include AP Exams. I did not take any classes that is duplicated with my AP since I used all my APs for IGETC or to skip pre-reqs for my major preps.

But you did count the credit based on UC valuation, correct?

Yes I counted the credit based on UC valuation.

Wouldn’t you have taken more than one course in fall 2023, or were all of the other ones passed / not-passed?

What I meant is that I can only report grades of Fall 2023 in the TAU. One here implies that I don’t have any previous fall term at CC.

Does this mean that you enrolled at University of Michigan in fall 2023 and took only one graded course there?

No, I withdrew from UMich and enrolled at a CC in Fall 2023. Fall 2023 is my first semester attending a college. I took 3 graded courses at my CC for Fall 2023.

But how did you end up with only “one Fall semester grade”?

It just a wording issue. “One Fall Semester grade” meant I only have grades of one fall semester.
