Currently a freshmen @ George Mason University(just completed 1st semester:16 credits)
Honors College Student- harder classes, tougher profs
College GPA (1st semester only): 3.42 Hoping to get better 2nd semester grades…:confused:
Just registered for another 16 credits for 2nd semester= total 32 college credits
Major: International Studies
VA-resident, got rejected last year… applying again to UVA CAS</p>

<p>High School stats(class of 2010)
graduated with 3.85
took 5 AP classes
SAT:2000/2400</p>

<p>Questions:

  1. Would being a honor student be a merit during the admission procedure?
  2. Does UVA look at 2nd semester grades? deadline for transfer students is 3/1 which the semester would still not be finished… should I send in mid-year reports instead??</p>
