<p>well i live in california and its impossible to be in csf for 4 years, they only accept sophomore and above.</p>

<p>^same here man. And our school doesn’t even do anything in CSF, its just an honor. I didn’t think it meant anything so I didn’t put it on any of my apps.</p>

<p>OP is right, CSF allows you to apply your freshman year now, but doesn’t credit the year towards earning the gold tassel or whatever it is you get. I think it is just a way for them to make more money.</p>
