- Writer and Editor for Honors Project (We put out 3 newsletters every semester)
- Treasurer of Honors Project (Handled budgetary and fundraising issues with the club and its publication)
- ICC Rep of Psychology Club (Went to meetings and met with ICC Reps from every other club to discuss club activities and relayed important information back to Psych Club)
- VP of Intramurals Club (Started it with my buddy from Honors Project; we play basketball and dodgeball in the gym during weekday afternoons, and I also attend the ICC meetings for the club)
- I’ve held a restaurant job at a local restaurant for 3 years and worked my way up from bus boy to food expeditor to cocktail server.

Personal Statements: Discussed the importance of philosophy in my life and my interests in both philosophy and psychology. I mentioned specific interests in the field of psych as well as authors/professors whose material I’ve either read or watched (in the form of lectures on youtube). Discussed in-depth my interest and curiosity in philosophy and psychology. Briefly mentioned that I went from a 1.9 gpa my senior semester to a 4.0 gpa at cc.

Cons:
No major life circumstances; Personal Statement may have been a bit boring.
One of the prereqs for Psych at UCLA is Biology 100. I got my only W in this class during my first year at cc, but I explained that the reason I dropped it was due to transportation issues, and had nothing to do with my grade or interest in the course.
The 2 prereqs I have left to complete are the science requirements for the major (physics 100 and biology 100).
