UT was my first choice but you’ve seen the data people that probably not going to happen so UGA is a very appealing option.

According to last year’s class profile, your stats on on the low side. I think its possible but I wouldn’t say its a safety:

Here are the stats from the 2010 applicants:

High School Core Grade Point Average
Middle 50% of All Enrolled First-Year Students: 3.68 - 4.0
Overall Average of All Enrolled First-Year Students: 3.83
Middle 50% of All Enrolled Honors Students: 4.0 - 4.2
Middle 50% of All Scholarship Students: 4.00 - 4.17

Standardized Tests
SAT-I Middle 50% of Admitted First-Year Students 1800 - 2080
SAT-I Middle 50% of Admitted First-Year Students (CR&M): 1190 - 1360
Overall SAT-I Average of Admitted First-Year Students: 1263
ACT Middle 50% of Admitted First-Year Students: 27 -31
Overall ACT Average for Admitted First-Year Students: 28

Improving on the SAT score would definitely help your chances.

GPA is in line with the median but you’ll have a much stronger shot - perhaps even as an EA applicant - if you can boost your SAT to 2000. At the minimum, you’ll want to try raising the math section into the 600’s.

As a side note, UGA does not maintain separate standards for OOS vs. IS so you’re competing against all applicants for a spot rather than just those from OOS.
