My recommendation is good; my psychology teacher has her doctorate. My essay is decent, a story about how I overcame tribulations and learned from the experience and can now apply it to college.

What is UM? Michigan? Maryland? Minnesota? Missouri? Something else?

If I assume Michigan (which is what most people mean by UM), I’m sorry but I think that’s going to be unlikely, especially since you didn’t apply EA.

I am unfamiliar with the other schools you’ve listed so I’ll defer to others.

Are all these schools affordable?

Meaning, you didn’t apply to any school in the early application cycle?

Cost constraints? If so, have you used each college’s net price calculator?

Have you checked each college on whether you Spanish CLEP score and/or you German B1 certification fulfill or substitute for any high school foreign language requirements or recommendations they have?

Since all the schools appear to be schools in Florida, I think it must be the University of Miami.

Looks like you are a competitive soccer player. Are you a recruited athlete? What is your weighted GPA vs unweighted GPA?

Your scores are similar to my S20. He had a higher gpa but slightly lower test scores. He had similar extra curricular in work, volunteering, and church activities. Not as strong athletics. He applied to Miami but was rejected. Not sure if your Florida resident status helps at the private school.

I would say from your list, unless recruited athlete, they appear to be mostly reaches based upon the GPA averages. Although, you may better know how your school in Florida places students at these universities. UF may be a reach, FSU probably is as well. USF and UCF are difficult to place since your test scores are very competitive, but GPA lower than their average. The acceptance rates, however for those two are in the 41-44% range apparently. Even if targets, I’d recommend a couple safeties if you haven’t yet applied to any. How about schools like the University of Tampa or Flagler? They look like safeties for you? Good luck!

Your weighted gpa is not correct based on how Florida schoools calculate +.5 for honors and 1 for Ap.

Can you recalculate?
