ACT: 34, English - 35, Math - 36, Reading - 35, Science - 31 (Retaking this, I think I can pull off a 35-36)
SAT 2s - Bio M 780, Math 1 730, Math 2 670 (Retaking this, I estimate I’ll get around 750-800), World History 660
GPA: 93 Unweighted…I have two 70s in religion courses (I go to a private religious school), but in all my APs and secular subjects, I pretty much have 95+. My school doesn’t weight grades, so I don’t know what my weighted GPA is.
I also might be able to work at a doctor’s office over the summer. Plus, I’m thinking about starting an engineering club at my school in the beginning of my senior year (in 2 months).

Chance me for:
UPenn ED & Jerome Fisher
Macculay CCNY
UC Berkley (Out of state)
Columbia
Macaulay CCNY: Match
Berkeley: High match
UPenn: Reach
Columbia: Reach
These are all fairly rigorous programs. Do you have any backup schools?
@chanceme12345671
Please note that UPenn and Columbia take your transcript as is and do not edit out religious courses.
UPenn - Low reach/high math for ED; reach for Jerome Fischer.
UC-Berkeley - Match
Columbia - low reach/high match
Macaulay - Match
@ThatCollegeGuy1 Macaulay is technically a safety because even if you’re rejected to the Macaulay Honors program, you’re still considered for acceptances the general CUNY colleges as well. And the OP has a 34 ACT.
Hard to predict Ivy/Berkeley as they are virtually lotteries. I say you have a decent shot at Columbia and Berkeley though. Macaulay is a match for you.
ECs are kind of generic in terms of those application pools, Math 2 and World History subject test scores are low. The Ivies once again are crapshoots, but I think you may have a good chance at UC Berkeley.
also, if you have any hooks (URM) that would also help in getting you over the hump and into Columbia.

iluvfood you’re app looks golden. You shouldn’t have a problem getting into anywhere
^^^ you’re = you are
your = possessive pronoun generally employed as an adjective
Your scores are strong, but you need to find more matches and a safety.
Columbia, Penn - Reach
Berkeley OOS - match
Macculay CCNY - no idea, but its ranking is weak compared to the above 3, so it can’t be harder than a match.
@prezbucky Macaulay is the free tuition CUNY honors college. CCNY is a low reach because of it’s selectivity. But Macaulay at CCNY would be a solid reach for you because of how competitive it is. I’m very familiar with the program. It’s hard to get in. This is great evidence of ranking not being the end all be all.
Can you afford Berkeley OOS? It’s a reach.
UC Berkley = UC Berkeley
You should add another 3 safeties, based on your intended major. You appear to live in NY state, so a few SUNYs might fit the bill. Make sure these safeties are schools you can afford and ones you feel comfortable attending.
What is your intended major (Engineering/Business/“Pre-med”)? How much can your parents afford to contribute to your yearly college cost? I have seen students who were accepted at Ivy Universities and receive very little need based aid (parents income bracket) and their parents are unable to pay their estimated contribution.
