Chance me!! (urgent)

I am a international student (freshmen), majoring in business at a university ranked in the 110’s on US News.

Statistics:

 1. High school GPA: 2.3
 2. SAT score: 1980 (senior year)
 3. Took 4 AP classes in high school, but got scores under 3
 4. Took 2 Sat II’s, scoring in the high 600’s
 5. 1st semester GPA is going to be under 1.0 (had some personal and health issues), but hoping to receive a 4.0 next semester

Extracurricular:

 1. Numerous internship experiences
 2. Have a WIPO patent
 3. Varsity sports in high school
 4. 500+ community service hours
 5. Done research at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University with a senior research scientist

Questions:

 1. Should I complete sophomore year before I transfer out?
 2. Should I transfer to a CC with a guaranteed transfer option?
 3. What would be my match and reach schools under the circumstances I receive a cumulative GPA of over a 3.5?
 4. Thinking about academic renewal or overriding the failed classes with subsequent courses, what do you think?

Thank you and I will answer any questions :)

Correction: Cumulative GPA of over a 3.5 by the time I’m applying for transfers in the spring of sophomore year.
