AP:
APUSH (5)
AP Bio (5)
AP Chem (5)
AP Calc (5)
AP Env. Science (5)

I’m taking 3 AP’s now ( env. science, chem, and calc), regular calc class (yay), College Now: psychology , forensic science, and my required fashion class , but it’s fun and relaxing :).

If you got into Stanford or Harvard what would you major in?

@Dragonflygarden Major: Human Biology Minor: Psychology :)

From what I see none of your ECs has anything to do with what you plan to study in college. That is usually not good for admissions to the top schools. Looking at your list I would have thought you wanted to go into fashion.

@Dragonflygarden Fashion is my hobby. I want to work in the medical field for a living. If my school offered any medical-related clubs, I’d join, but they don’t so I’m doing my best with what is offered. My school is a fashion-based high school, I’m stuck here. I forgot to mention that I’m volunteering at a hospital now in Manhattan :).

I’m now volunteering *

Also, when I applied for high school, I thought I had a passion for fashion, but realized it was just a side thing and now I really desire to work in the medical field.

Oh dear god another SkillsUSA president holy **** never thought I’d see the day on CC.

Marry me.

Anyways…

Harvard: Reach.
Stanford: Reach.
NYU: High Match.

Being a URM at places like Harvard and Stanford brings what would be a High Reach to a Reach. That said, I’m sure you know that even target applicants get declined from ivies and T20s all the time.

You have some great ECs, especially that global work.

Perhaps we will run across each other in Kansas City at the National Skills Conference this summer. Look for crab hats!

@Dixie39 Hahaha! Thank you so much :)
