Second-generation Cuban Immigrant, Texas resident
I’m applying to become an incoming freshman at the following schools:
(Included major choice because I know some are more competitive then others)
UT Austin - College of Liberal Arts (Intended major: Human Dimensions of Organizations)
Penn State - B.S. Psychology
University Of Amsterdam - Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics
CU Boulder - B.S. Psychology
Stats:
Grade average - 91 (high school doesn’t do GPA)
(Senior year grade average is 97)
ACT - 30
(High school doesn’t rank)
Three strong rec. letters (two from past teachers and one from councilor)
Extensive list of ECs -
Captain of a charity club in my community that is constantly doing activities for the community.
Numerous community service hours.
Founder and speaker of the LGBTQ club at my school.
Founder and speaker of Tech Club at my school.
Four years district playing varsity tennis player.
Worked extensively with the local down syndrome community.
Past Jobs During Highschool - File Clerk, Dish Washer, Assistant at Real-Estate Agency.

Awarded “Award of Excellence” at school.
Strong essays for UT Austin (optional and required), Penn State, CU Boulder and University Of Amsterdam.
I’ve already been accepted into UT Dallas which was my safe school!
