Chance me Vanderbilt/Rice/Washington U. Is it worth applying?

I’m definitely applying to an in-state safety school and UVA early action. I’m a VA resident, & I’m fairly confident about getting into UVA, but I’m wondering if it’s worth the time and effort to reach for a couple private schools.

What are my chances for Vanderbilt, Rice, & Washington U. - St. Louis?

GPA Weighted: 3.97 (As of last year, rising) My school only reports a weighted GPA and offers an additional .5 points for an honor course, and a full point for an AP course.

Class Rank: ~29/430, top <10%

Took toughest available course load freshman year with only AP Human Geography

Took toughest available course load sophomore year with AP World History & AP Psychology

Took fairly rigorous course load junior year with AP Biology, AP U.S. History, & AP English

Took rigorous course load senior year with AP statistics, AP environmental science, AP English, and AP U.S. Government

GPA and grades are at an upward trend. Went from scattered A’s & B’s to all A’s junior year, & maintaining ~all A’s senior year (now)
