Aga Khan Foundation: Youth Ambassador: A youth ambassador to the Aga Khan Foundation. The AKF’s main goal is to address issues of global poverty, and this is implemented through local projects in the community.
Junior World Affairs Council- VP and Co-Founder: Founded Junior World Affairs Council, and in conjunction with other students became active in the JWAC community by going to see guest speakers and going to other events to augment our knowledge of world affairs.
Debate-VP, LD Team Lead: Have been an active member in debate since my freshman year. Now as one of the most experienced on the team, I serve as Vice-President assisting other students learn LD debate as well as being a role model for upcoming debater.
Business Professionals of America- Secretary: As a student interested in the business field, this club has been an unique opportunity to allow me to showcase my talents in the sphere of business.

State Career Development Conference Qualifier (DECA): Participating in the Business Law and Ethics event, I along with my partner received the honor of qualifying for the DECA State Career Development Conference two years consecutively.

NSDA Distinction Honors (Debate): The Distinction Honors, a prestigious honor that one receives once they have earned 250 NSDA association points.
Projects:
Light Up Burundi!: Light Up Burundi! was a project that we cam up with for the Aga Khan Foundation: Innovative Solutions Challenge. Winning the Peoples Choice Award, Light Up Burundi! was a sustainable solution for the the weak energy sector in Burundi. The project’s goal was to implement Monocrystalline Solar Panels in major cities in Burundi.
Volunteer Experience:
Manager for Book to Africa Drive: Working with the local community, we successfully raised over a hundred books to developing countries within Africa in order to promote education.
Teacher’s Assistant: I help out as a Teacher’s Assistant for Kindergarten students. We help endorse the ideas of being kind, the power of education, and to be humble at a young age to give the students a strong foundation to grow on.
Experience:
Global Business Research Intern at UTD: The objective of the internship is to assist with learning about global business trends, careers, and future opportunities in the Global Business Program at UTD. My role as an intern is to work with the program director with gathering research, data compilation, analyzing trends, writing reports, and presenting my findings to a group of program directors at University of Texas at Dallas.
