I plan to apply the College of Arts and Sciences for most of the above colleges, for the more tech schools I am looking into Computer Science/Applied Math…I really see myself thriving in both arts and academics…which for is jazz and programming

Jazz - I play drums (7+ years) and bass (2+ years), went on paid tour to Dubai, Europe, South Africa to perform (raised $20,000 for donations in music equipment)…played at Jazz at Lincoln Center, done concerts with grammy award/nominated musicians (chris potter, bobby sanabria, victor wooten) Downbeat Magazine awarded our Band Best High School Jazz Combo, selected as drummer to perform at JEN (Jazz Education Network Competition) in Texas, played last year too – all this started when I began playing small gigs in my home town

Squash - JV Freshmen and Sophomore Year, Varsity Junior Year…undefeated for 41 seasons…not likely to be recruited

Computer Programming (5+ years) – Interned at MIT: Center for Ultracold Atoms…helped monitor atoms in extremely cold temperatures (bose-einsten condensate): Taught Robotics to Elementary kids at local science camp (paid)…worked at a startup company (Scrapehero) (also paid) – intense programming stuff (NER RNN, wrote blogs: scrapehero.com) Developed a Beta 1.0 Version of PetBnB, airbnb for pets…(with working payment, google maps, messaging, facebook/google login, fingerprint and face id, and MySQL php servers)…really full fledged app with 10 users!
Speech - Been on speech team for four years, went to states twice and qualified for nationals (did bad tho) - CFLs
Head of South Asian Society (a club), Board Member of Cultural Program at school, Board Member of a school magazine, which also hosts live music performances and raffles
AV Tech - Technology Service “engineer” at school, help with setting up mics, computers, etc…
