Northwestern is definently my top choice. If I didn’t go there I would probably go to Minnesota or Wisconsin and at least would save a ton of money.

Applying to McCormick (is this harder to get into?)
I’m in BC Calc, Physics C - good at math and science
GPA - around 3.9 UW, 4.17 W (will be 4.24 by sem 1 of this year)
6 AP’s (all 5’s) 1 IB (6) - 6 more APs this year
7 honors
Worst grade - B+ in honors English, some A-'s
34 ACT, no SAT (will this hurt me?)
770 Biology, 760 Math 2 (retaking, studying for 800)

I have several academic awards and finalist for econ essay contest and other math contest

Pretty Weak Extra-Curriculurs - 9th-grade soccer, rec basketball, 50-100 volunteer hours through a couple programs (tutoring, coaching), a couple jobs, NHS and Math Team senior year

One excelent reccommendation, another pretty good one I think
I think my Why Northwestern essay is very good, common app essay is good, nothing special though

My high school has a lot of strong candidates applying, I should be better than most academically, a little worse with activities

So do you think I’ll get in? Is it worth the price? Thanks!
