Chance me?

My Chances at Regular Decision

I am currently a senior and I have a 3.775 GPA but my SAT Score is relatively low.
SAT:

  • 1330 (430 CR & 430 Math, 470 Writing)
  • 1290 ( 440 CR, 290 Math, 560 Writing)

Classes: Over the past four years, I will have taken a total of 7 AP classes by the time I graduate.

  • AP Comparative Govt & Politics
  • AP US Govt & Politics
  • AP Chemistry
  • AP US History
  • AP Microeconomics
  • AP Macroeconomics
  • AP Literature
( all other classes have been honors)

Okay I got my ACT Score back and I made :
21 Composite
23 English
23 Writing
18 Science
16 Math
25 Reading

Since GSU looks at the writing section my total score from the two times would be: 1430

Hmm, let’s look at your freshman index:

Is the 3.775 your unweighted or weighted GPA?

Assuming unweighted, (3.775 * 500) + 440(CR) + 430(Math) = 2757

I would say it’s a good reach, like you have a really good chance. You definitely have the GPA to get in, but i’m a bit skeptical after looking at your SAT scores.

But I would still say that you have a really, really good chance of getting in. Probably 80-90%. Let me know if you get in or not, because I really would like to know of your acceptance.

I applied for Reg. Decision, they look at more than just test scores/ GPA right?

It seems like they only look at GPA and test scores/AP scores because that’s all they ask for. I don’t remember, but they may also ask for extra curriculars (I, for the life of me, can’t remember if they asked or not.
I applied for early decision and got in. I had a 3.8 weighted/3.7 unweighted GPA. 25 composite on my ACTs, 3 AP tests–> AP Lang 3, APUSH 4, French Lang 1 (but I didn’t mention it lol)

You are in. When I applied there was no extra curriculars part of the application. But again, you are in.

I got in! :D

I know this is a late reply but congrats man!
