To be honest with you, ca2012, there really is no reason for anyone to chance you. If someone says you probably won’t get in, you’ll spend senior year panicking, and if someone says you probably will get in, you may get self-confident and not work as hard. My advice to you is to work as hard as you possibly can, keep up good grades all throughout senior year (first and second semester–don’t slack off!), keep up your extracurriculars, and find something that makes you stand out from all the other applicants and play it up in your application. Don’t worry about the admission decision, or what other people may tell you, just work as hard as you can and know that you’ve done the best you can Good luck!
