I am only on this Harvard thread because of Cappex. Cappex told me that with my stats I have a 80% of getting in Harvard which I find very hard to believe. It also said I have a 63% of getting into UCLA even though Harvard to much much better than UCLA.

Freshman GPA: 4.0
Sophomore GPA: 3.93 (1 AP passed w/ 4)
Junior GPA: 3.95 (2 AP passed with one 5 and one 4)
Senior: TBD (2 AP)

SAT: 2160

SAT II:

World History: 760
Chemistry: 720
US History 710

EC:
National Honor Society
Key Club
California Scholarship Federation
Asian Club

Habitat of Humanity
Boy’s and Girl’s Club

800 Hours of community service at my local homeless shelter

yeah, never rely on Cappex. Cappex utilizes a very brute way of pure numbers system, taking out the humanistic aspect of college apps.

It is hard to state straightout your chances, but I do recommend that you try to hit 2200+ on your SAT I. SAT II’s are solid, and definitely work to portray your interests well.

You definitely have a chance, but show that you’re a strong individual from the swarm of other applicants.

You have a chance at Harvard, but increasing that SAT score would certainly help. I’d also say you’re pretty qualified for applying to other Ivy’s and top schools as well. Just be aware that every school is different. What are your interests? If we knew, myself and others could probably help you more.
