<p>Taken 3 APs:
Took AP Calculus last year and got a 5
Taking 2 APs this year and I’m getting A’s.</p>

<p>Tennis Team captain senior year. Also participated in ski club.</p>

<p>All courses that were available to be honors were taken as honors, unless they were AP.</p>

<p>I live in Maryland, and my dad went there and did well.</p>

<p>I’m trying to get into limited enrollment (engineering).</p>

<p>My essay writing skills aren’t super good, but I’m okay at it.</p>

<p>What do you think my chances are?</p>

<p>I think you’ll probably be accepted, but based on previous years, I think you may have a tough time getting directly into the LEP…your grades and SAT numbers are on the low side. If you aren’t accepted directly into the LEP, doing great after getting to UMD will help your case for being accepted into the program after you are there for a semester or so…</p>

<p>I am with Astro… You may get into CP but not in your intended LEP. Both your math SAT and GPA are too low. You are a borderline admit. Get your GPA up and do better on your SAT and you will have a better chance. Make sure you have your application in for early admission.</p>
