HISPANIC
FEMALE

Doesn’t seem to be bad. I think your chances seem pretty high since you have solid scores and are an Hispanic female.

SAT score is a bit low, but not unheard of at columbia. you obviously have great academics, but I think your extracurriculars are not particularly strong: sure, you have several academic honors which may look fancy at first, but all that means is that your grades were good, which you can tell from your GPA - honors societies and such are just redundant. the research is nice though, did you include information about it in your application?

all in all, i mean, i think you have a good shot, better than most people, but it’ll depend on the other factors of your application - essays and whatnot. good luck

Make sure your essays/interview humanize you. I would also put your chances as higher than most, but your SAT score combined with the lack of compelling ECs is troubling.

Also, the fact that you applied as undecided is not particularly good. Be careful, or you could be perceived as just another valedictorian with no personality.

Hispanic Female+Valedictorian+Viable SAT Scores= Very Strong Chances
