I know my SAT is a little below average or average but I did get it up tremendously from previous attempts: it is a 1780</p>
<p>My essays were pretty good, I talk about losing my mom to cancer and how I overcame it and went to school the next day and I talked about a confrontation about being jewish and how i helped black people when they were bullied.
I got my essays edited my professors so hopefully no flaws!</p>

<p>I’m surprised your professors said nothing about how offensive your essay may be depending on how the reader interprets your “helping black people.” I really hope that isn’t part of your cultural awareness essay, because if I was reading it, your application would have been thrown out.</p>
<p>Haha, no not like that it was not offensive at all. I’m sorry I wrote it fast up there. It was about someone stating their “culture” was better than someone else’s. Basically the whole class got really mad and I wanted to bring understanding and compassion to that class discussion like I had brought understanding and compassion to two white boys picking on an international student from Africa (I believe it was)… I basically stated how I brought wholeness to both confrontations</p>
