<p>Hey, I’m a high school junior right now and I was wondering what my chances were for getting into UNC Chapel Hill. Also if there are any other schools you guys think would be good matches let me know.</p>
<p>—My weighted gpa will be 4.65 by the end of my junior year
—I have made all A’s and only one “B” since my freshmen year. (Plenty of B’s freshmen year though) Here are the classes and corresponding grades.
Freshmen: Gym-A Latin-B Honors Geometry-B Honors Eng 1-A Honors bio-B Latin II-B Honors world hist-B Honors algebra II-C
Sophomore: Advanced functions and mathematics-B AP environmental-A Honors civics-A Computer Aps-A Honors chemistry-A honors eng II-A Honors Latin III-A Principles of Business-A
Junior: Honors us hist-A Honors Eng III-A AP world hist-A Honors pre-calc-A AP us hist-A AP lang-A AP psych-A Honors marine science-A
Senior: Will be taking at least 5 APs: AP chem, AP statistic, AP Literature, AP European, AP comparative gov.
—I will likely have a somewhere between 150-300 hours of community service time by the time I graduate
—Extra curricular activities: JV football freshmen year, Latin Club sophomore year, founder and co-president of film club junior year (will continue senior year), member of BETA Club (community service thing), will be member of nation honors society senior year.
—I Have not yet taken SAT or ACT but assuming that I get reasonably good scores on one of these tests what are my chances as a NC resident getting into UNC?
