<p>Nonetheless, you have a pretty good, above average shot, provided your ECs show commitment (like you’ve done them all through high school)</p>
<p>Other than that, write a good essay, get good recs, and I’d say you’d be in. No guarantees, though, it’s a hard school to get into, and with that there is always weird exceptions.</p>
<p>Your ACT is a little on the low side of average but your GPA and class rigor should help with that. I think your chances are fair to good; the biggest issue will be if the number of applications continues to increase driving the admittance rate even lower than this year’s 18%.</p>
<p>You might consider trying to boost your ACT score 1 or 2 points. I believe the average was closer to a 31 or 32 this year. Some problems I see are club collecting with no major leadership position… but I would be a little surprised if you are not admitted.</p>
