Basketball My favorite sport and the one I am best at among all the sports I play. I was captain of basketball team for two years. I started playing in 7th grade. Currently I play on the starting 5 for the school team and specialize in Small Forward and Point Guard positions. I have taken part in numerous basketball tournaments and I have played at the national level for my state. 7th – 11th
Debating: While I was into debating for a while before coming to my school, I was introduced to MUN only after I reached here. Ever since I took part in three MUN’s and won Best delegate in two and honorary mention in one. 8th – 11th<br>
Swimming I was formally trained for 2 years when I was very young but stopped swimming for a while. But every summer, I get back to it and it is one of my favorite sports. </p>

<p>Very good. As other CCer suggested they are all very competetive and it is very difficult to chance an International, regardless you are very competetive. You have a good chance to get into a very good school.</p>

<p>OMG OMG OMG… If I didnt know any better, I’d say you were a shoo-in (or shoe-in or however u spell it) candidate!!! u seem extremely EXTREMELY qualified… I’m sure u got into some IITS no problem! </p>

<p>if you dont get in, (which i doubt since even among internationals, I’d say you have an excellent chance), then it’s really the schools’ loss. It seems like you will succeed anywhere.</p>

<p>Those stats are OVER THE TOP, to be honest.
I have a D in Stanford and S is in JHU,
Both of them had sub 2200 sat’s and average subject sats.
But what made them stand out were extracurriculars and awards outside the class.
You seem to have some GREAT stuff under your belt and there’s reason why you won’t get in. You’re no doubt a better applicant than both my kids. Harvard and Princeton may be a little tricky since they only tend to take well connected internationals, but you’ll DEFINITELY make it to the rest of the colleges on your list.</p>

<p>And yes, Essays are really important. I remember the admissions officer telling me that my D’s essay was one of the best they’ve ever seen. If you need any help with your essays or apps, feel free to post it here.</p>
