<p>My dream school is West Virginia University
2.8 GPA
1400 SAT
In state: Texas (live in Germany because of military parents)
Extra Curricular Activities: 4 years varsity soccer (3 years captain)
3 years varsity kicker, Club soccer, Assistant Soccer Coach, Soccer Referee
Volunteer: over 75 hours
If I apply late January do you think I have a good shot, WVU is the only school for me because it has everything I want in a school.
Also do you think $22,000 a year is too much for college?</p>

<p>Break down your SAT score a bit, but you seem like a decent candidate for WVU. They have a pretty high acceptance rate (~85%) so I don’t think you should be terribly worried. </p>

<p>They’re SAT scores range from 460-560 for Reading and 470-580 in math, which is just about average. Like smack dab in the middle of average. </p>

<p>Your GPA isn’t fantastic, but it should be good enough. </p>

<p>Do you have anything else? Clubs? Student council? You already seem like a Match for them, but having pretty much anything else will set you apart. </p>

<p>Also, 4 years of Varsity soccer with all the other soccer activities should be able to put you over the edge. Have you thought about contacting their soccer coach? Are you good enough to play there?</p>

<p>22k a year is about average for the type of university you’re looking at. In the end, it depends on what you plan to get out of it. What’s your major going to be?</p>

<p>Where are you in Germany? I’m also a military kid, but I’m stationed in Italy haha</p>

<p>I go to Patch High School in Stuttgart. I am planning on sending video to the coach but doubt I will get a scholarship. But I do honestly think I can play if not first year then second year I believe so. I’m in MUN if that counts. I am planning on a major in Athletic Coaching Education (I want to be an agent or a college/pro coach for soccer) I was first team all-region for soccer freshman sophomore and junior year, SHOULD OF been All-Europe last year but got cheated out of it.</p>

<p>Honestly, I’d say you have good chances with WVU. They really do accept anyone. You haven’t had a felony or been expelled from school right? As long as everything else is average, you’ll be fine. </p>
