Senior Courses: AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP English, AP German, Chemistry II (Organic Chemistry), Psychology.
AP US History (junior year): 4
AP Government and Politics (US): 4 (self studied)

All accelerated math and english classes throughout highschool career.
Essays: After submission I realize that they weren’t amazing, but they are decent.
Recomendations: English teacher had nice things to say. Chemistry teacher, however, sent 3 letters to Chicago for different students with the same intro/conclusion (is this going to be an issue, or is it common practice?). Otherwise his letter was very positive. He mentioned that I consistantly performed well in his class even after the recent death of my father.

I mentioned things I like to do on my free time (Philosophy and Marxism study, Frisbee Golf, etc). 5 year volunteer at the local fish and game, 2 years of bowling (Most improved player, 1st place in league, state competitor). German club for one year. Didn’t want to look like a serial joiner this year, so I strayed away from joining a mess of clubs. Rec letter mentioned that I have hitherto been unable to do many activities, as my family comitments have escalated since my father’s death.

Any post-application-submission advice would be appreciated. Aside from that, what do you veterans think?
