Do I have too many reach schools? Am I being realistic?
Thanks!

Thanks for coming to this thread! I’d really appreciate some input.

even though you have excellent stats you should still add a safety or two, in case things go incredibly horribly wrong for you. the ivy league schools and stanford/mit are a reach for anyone, but you seem to have great stats that are definitely in the range for all the schools you have listed. your ecs are probably the weakest part of your app, but i definitely dont think they are weak enough to get you rejected.

you probably wont get a lot of responses for this thread because you are basically a flawless candidate, and its really hard to accurately chance someone for an ivy league school. but i am sure that you have a very good chance of getting into at least 1-2 of your reach schools. good luck, hope this helps.

Johns Hopkins: match
Carnegie Mellon: match - safe match
Berkeley: match
UCLA: match - safe match
UCSD: safety

And you have a very good shot at the rest.

Amazing scores and GPA. Great job on the internship as well as the accomplishments with JETS. Great chances at all though of course your list is reachy (just like mine!) so who knows where you’ll end up? But you’ll definitely end up somewhere that you’ll love :)
