I got an 1880 on my first sats (still waiting for second scores)
540 reading 760 math 580 writing</p>
<p>extra curricular :
fbla club, spanish club, international culture club, volunteer at sports clinic
played for basketball league, referee for it
worked as an advertiser, tutor at Kumon, and worked in a driving school</p>
<p>Ive been in honors math and science throughout highschool
junior year > ap bio
senior year : AP stats, AP PSYCH, AP CHEM</p>
<p>what are my chances in </p>

SOM
CGS</p>
<p>and whats so different about CGS that makes it easier to get into</p>

<p>I am assuming you meant Boston U since you are on the BU board?</p>
<p>Boston University is definitely a reach for you. Your GPA and SAT are both a little low given BU’s averages. I would say it is definitely a stretch to get into CAS or SOM (I assume you mean school of management, which is actually abbreviated to SMG). You may have a chance at CGS. WHat BU does is, if you don’t get into the school of your choice, they automatically consider you for admission in the CGS program, which is far easier and much less selective. After two years at CGS with a set curriculum, you would then move up to the actual BU school of your choice.</p>
