Hi, I’m a sophomore in high school, and I’m planning to graduate early next year. I know this is long, but your help is really appreciated!! Here are my stats:

Extra curriculars:
- Swimming (2 years), placed 1st in regional competition, awarded ‘Most Improved Swimmer’, qualified for state competition.
- Piano (5 years) Member of the National Federation of Music Clubs, placed in ‘outstanding’ with both piano pieces. I’m not that amazing at piano, since I played for 5 years, but I love it and keep doing it.
- Tutoring (1 year +) tutored elementary school children and college students alike, helped raise grades in both categories.
- Community Service (volunteered to be a chaperone on field trips). I’m joining a community service group at my school next year, so I’ll probably have more to add here.

Extras: Overcame language barrier, learned English in less than a year, now I’m in the top 1% in my pretty competitive school.

Schools I’m applying to:
Safeties: Univ. Florida, Univ. Colorado
Reach (dream schools): Amherst College

I really want to know my chances for amherst, and also what can I improve on for next year? I want honest feedback! Thank you!!!
