Debate team captain
Quiz Bowl Captain
Won a few oratorical contests at the state level
Some student government clubs.

2 science Olympiad state semi-finalist.</p>

<p>Great stats, I think you have an excellent chance, and that is so cool that you are Russian! Were you born in Russia? What did you write your essays on?</p>

<p>Also, did you not take any Subject Tests?</p>

<p>Being good at writing is great but the actual material in your essays has to be good. And if your teacher recs aren’t “the best”, I might look for other teachers. Your recs should be excellent</p>
