I don’t do chances, but people who do will need to know whether or not you’re a resident of CA for the UCs.

Yeah, im in california.

the low GPA is going to hurt you. if you’re going to retake the SATs, aim for >2300 to balance out the low GPA…even then, though, your chances at UPenn are still going to be fairly slim just b/c the school is so competitive. are you applying to wharton? your ECs look good though- so I’d say match for UCB and low reach for USC/UCLA. seriously, the ONLY thing holding you back is your GPA…was it something out of the ordinary that caused the slump fresh/soph years? if so, that might be something you want to explain on the application…

i dont agree with the high sat balances low GPA…this can present a pretty bad image to the colleges because it means you probably did not work hard enough

USC loves high test scores. Did you make NMSF? If so, 'SC is a low match with automatic scholarship.

GPA will hurt at Cal and UCLA unless you have extenuating circumstances. Penn is a huge reach, but ED could help.

I really don’t think a higher test score will matter much – yours’ is high enough.
