I’m a current freshman at Occidental College, 3.6 GPA. Current ECs are lifeguarding (job) DWAMA (a club for diplomacy/world affairs majors), a few volunteering projects (helping with an at risk youth center, arts/crafts with special needs students, animal shelter volunteer) and yoga club and the Quidditch team, just for fun. I’m also taking a full course load (18 credits) which I’m told is uncommon for frosh?

As far as HS goes, I had a 3.9 GPA unweighted (4.8 weighted), 2020 SATs (Reading 700 Math 630 Writing 690) and ACT (w/o writing) of 33. I had a fair amount of extracurriculars (I don’t know if these are important?). I also received my IB diploma with 7’s in SL Philosophy/SL Spanish, 6’s in HL English/HL History/SL Math/SL Theatre and a 4 in HL Bio.

Schools I’m applying to:
William and Mary
Barnard College
George Washington
or NYU.

Chances?
And should I submit my SAT scores or my ACT scores? Both? I’m worried that it will hurt me to not have scores w/ the writing section.
Thanks!
