Chance Me?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what my chances are based on my grades and test scores alone.

Info:
California Resident
9th grade GPA: 2.83 or something awful around that.
10th grade GPA: 3.61 unweighted 3.94 weighted
11th grade GPA: 3.72 unweighted 3.86 weighted

This year I’m taking the most challenging math courses offered (Calculus and Calculus Based Physics), as well as honors Calculus Based Physics, Honors Literature, and Honors Spanish 4.

SAT:
Math: 520
CR: 560
Writing: 680
Total: 1760
(Retaking it in November)

Extracurricular Activities:
Math Club
Rock Climbing Club
Theater Tech Department since 6th grade (rigging the shows, operating the boards, general stagecraft)
Designed and programmed an Ajax/PHP based script to allow students to check in/check out of the school and computers.

In addition, I have a lot of employment experience.

Any other questions please ask. Hoping I have a chance at this school.

You’ll definitely need to boost up that SAT score. Your GPA from freshman year will drag you down, but the trend of improvement is good.
I’d say USC’d be a reasonable reach assuming you boost up that test score

Thank you! I’m just a bad standardized test taker. Going to be studying a lot for the November test.

Forgot to include for ECs:

11th grade CI and Internship:

110 hours

12 Grade Internship: 294.10 hours
